Metro 2033 - I read it, but I didn’t read 2034, I don’t have money to buy a book, but it’s more expensive to read on a computer ...
Book 2034 is far from 2033, it is something else, not an action movie, but something like a story.
I read Glukhovsky's books - 33 and 34. I liked it very much, of course, part 1 was better IMHO. But the second is also okay. :)
I have read only the 1st, not a bad book, but while I am reading a stalker, there is not enough time for others.
I read about five books from the Metro series. D. Glukhovsky rocks! I also liked the prehistory of the metro written with his help!!!!!
I hope the arsenal will expand + Pm, Stechkin, ppsh, Pb, and there are also a bunch of Russian weapons - classic toz, sawn-off shotgun, pernach, PSM, SVD, PK. RPK, Rpg-7, F1, rgd-6, aglen, molotoff, they would also add a luger, walter ppk, colt 1911
+ more modernization (even if not a big one) on their own, take off and wrap OP, PG (grenade launcher), PBS (glushak)
+ sta][fish +10 you want to have freedom of choice. where to go, different secret paths ... tp
+ I want to see some kind of army unloading systems like the well-known SMERSH, a real army helmet. and the impression is that it is not clear where a huge number of helmets of incomprehensible production came from, although in 20 years they may have already learned how to produce ....
+ more flexible dialogues... more tasks, freedom to go to one station, return for a reward... escort caravans...
+ pinpoint hits on monsters and people... 2033 is not enough to hit a monster head with a horn... interestingly developed rummage in hunting, at least they know about the features of hunting for a large animal ...)))) and the impression that they came up with a bulldozer ... balance ...
But the super atmosphere has nothing to add to 2033, that's right, such a Stalker should have been around for a long time )))) in terms of atmosphere and graphics. And then after the "Shadows of Chernobyl" the graphics in the stalker are marking time ...
In general, we are waiting for a miracle from 2034, as always, we hope :)
If the game is average. let's play for free. if there is a worthwhile one, then you can buy it with tears of joy in your eyes))))
The book 2034 lacks drive. And a lot of retreats. It is not clear who is speaking. How much from the author of the story. What I liked about the first book was that the narration came from the main character Artyom. Like in first person or something. This is sorely lacking in 2034.
2034 for an amateur. I personally liked it, but you shouldn’t expect some kind of globality, or something, from the plot, unlike M2033
For fans of the Metro 2033 and 34 books, I recommend the series of books "Toward the Light" by Andrey Dyakov. By the way - not long ago the final part of the adventures of Taran and Gleb came out through the endless expanses of post-nuclear Russia.
I recommend starting with book 1! very addictive! each book is a continuation of the previous part, but with a new no less exciting plot. very interesting! By the way - the books received a nomination - the best book of the universe in 2013!
"Metro 2033" - Dmitry Glukhovsky - a cult science fiction novel, the most discussed Russian book of recent years. Circulation - half a million, translations into dozens of languages, plus a grandiose computer game! This post-apocalyptic story has inspired a galaxy of modern writers, and now they are working together to create the Metro 2033 Universe, a series of books based on the famous novel. The heroes of these new stories will finally go beyond the Moscow metro. Their adventures on the surface on an Earth nearly destroyed by nuclear war are beyond all expectations. Now the struggle for the survival of mankind will be conducted everywhere! "Toward the Light" by Andrey Dyakov is a gripping and dark novel that already has thousands of fans of its own. On the Metro2033.ru portal, this book won the reader's vote.
2033 is interesting, but the continuation is somehow chaotic, often jumping from one to another, but in general, in my opinion, the best work from the series is the trilogy: "Towards the Light", "Into the Darkness", "Beyond the Horizon"
I really liked the first book, but not the second. Not already. The first was more ... more atmospheric or something. In the second book, for some reason, the hero of the first was killed, it just pissed me off. Yes, and it just seems that Metro2034 was made for some kind of housewives who love novels in the style of "Romeo and Juliet" The plot let us down a little. I was expecting something more .. more global or something. And it turned out .. what happened. Although the game is promised to be more interesting to do.
