I will balance - you will create an imbalance and spoil the game. Energy must run out quickly, because you can play the terminator in CoD, but here you can use it wisely. But there is also such an option not to mess with autoexec and look for console commands.

For example, you can make the suit's energy deplete equally quickly in disguise mode, even if you stand, even run. Or that in the super-armor mode there was no damage to health at all, but the energy was not spent from enemy hits, but by itself, gradually (and it would not save from machine guns). Well, there are many other features plus this - compatible modes, for example, or there is less ammo for the machine to give, so that it makes sense to use other guns ...
In short, I want to act more quickly and deliberately, and so that different tactics are equally effective and interesting. In fact, I came up with a kind of mod and even imagine how it should look like. I'm only afraid that for this you need to go very deep into the resources of the game, if the necessary files are available at all. Yes, and all this is confused ... Hands, most likely, will never reach this point. :)) But I would still like to "alter" the nanosuit for myself.

It turned out very cool, a hundred times more interesting than the monotonous stealth with headshots, arranged by most players. This is really a game in the style of "entertain yourself."

But in general, the game is worthy (the first part is the only one, in my opinion, suitable in the series) - it had a huge potential that was not destined to be fully revealed, at least until the craftsmen fix it with mods, fixing the game mechanics with additions , adding variety to locations and reducing the bombast of the game. Fortunately, there is Sandbox 2 for this - a big plus, I myself would like to dig there, somehow I’ll go.

I remember reading an interview with Tsevat Yerli - it seems like Crysis 2 was initially conceived as a direct continuation of the Lingshan story (if I understood correctly then).

To be honest, you won't get a stable FPS anywhere - here at least take a titanium or 780ti- AFTER SEVEN YEARS. Will be above 60, but sometimes sag. CryEngine 2 is harsh and unoptimized... alas.

Krytek with this game finally embarked on the path of corridor, pretentious shooters with scripted wow-effects ala Kalofdyuti - the reasons are clear to me, personally. Thus changing his style, namely, a combination of huge maps, pseudo-sandbox with vigorous action. Best of all, this concept worked in the first farik - and the maps are huge and interesting to play, not boring, and there is action with normal AI and competent placement of enemies. In the Crisis, they wanted to implement the same scheme, but alas, it did not turn out the way it could have turned out.
Well, the second or third part of the corridor jesters, and rather dull, I didn’t go through the third at all.

At least some direction is there only in pre-rendered screensavers. In Crysis, all this is done neatly, "polished" and very cinematic.

IMHO, Crysis is not a game for hardcore, but for spectacular experiments. In it, if desired, you can create anything (including hardcore). Personally, I most often like to reduce combat to hand-to-hand combat. Or I set myself mini-conditions - for example, pass a certain place only with a shotgun, or take out everyone without shooting, or fill up so many Koreans in a row without a break, or use explosives instead of a rocket launcher ... Only my own imagination can limit here. This is what attracts me to Crysis.
Plus, there are configs - another field for experimentation.
As for the "sense of the weapon", in Crysis its animation in the hands is extremely realistic. Thanks to this, its weight, slaughter, recoil are visually "felt" ...
My only complaint about the weapons in this game is the spread of bullets from the minigun, it's just monstrous. If I knew how to fix it, there would be no complaints at all.
