flies out. (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
why is the game crashing??config:
i7-3770k
ram 16 gb
gtx 770
win 7 64 bit
Game GOG
Patch 1.03
Random crashes - the game minimizes the sound remains (music or cues). It's not clear what to do
Config: i7 2600, gtx 980, 8 gb ram, gog version, crashes decreased after internet shutdown, such is the case
An experiment with a frame per second limit set to 30, a decrease in graphics settings, did not lead to anything, the video temperature is kept at 52 degrees (memory eats 1 GB), but still continues to crash, maybe someone has already found a solution to this problem?
My game also crashed due to overheating of the GTX 780 Ti (factory overclocked). The temperature in 15 minutes reached the critical (for this vidyuhi) 82 gr. And when I set the frame rate = 30, then the GPU load decreased by 2 times and the temperature does not exceed 60 gr. Departures, of course, stopped.
As you can see, the usual for all games frequency = 60 s on v.sync. In this game, it is designed only for the most powerful (and expensive) top-end video cards.
After some experiments, various options, I came to the conclusion that the crashes are _presumably_ due to heating / overheating of the video card (especially with factory overclocking). Actually, for those who have Palit cards, a working option is to reduce the processor frequency (in my case, GTX 770 by -100 MHz) and set the limiter to 65-70 degrees for heating, all this is done through Thunder Master.
The temperature graph is as follows:
The default settings of the card spin the fans by a maximum of 50%
FPS 40-45 everything is exorbitant except for shadows (just high), draw distances and hairworks

I did not buy this expensive GTX 780 Ti (factory overclocked) to degrade its performance due to one buggy game, since all the others work fine on this video card. So your method is not rational.
From time to time, randomly, the game just closes and that's it, I just can't figure out what's going on with it, can anyone come across it? Configuration like norm gtx980, i7-3770K, 32Gb, win7x64, steam
For whom we do Nvidia, we go in the settings of the nvidia driver and do it as in the screenshot ( if you don’t see
the lines on the gif, just open it in a new tab)
For whom it crashes, we remove overclocking from the video, if it exists, and then we also lower the frequency of the processor, I lowered it by -100 on my gtx 770, as vadim-u described above, you can lower it less, but how can I say for sure, and after that it stopped crashing, and the game runs comfortably (although the vidushka didn’t overheat before with the factory settings, but I had to lower it).
Asus hd 7970 DirectCu ii Top factory overclocked to 1000 MHZ in all games everything is fine, but in this computer it freezes, so I lowered it to 925MHz like the regular version, everything is fine, but this is not the case, maybe AMD firewood will come out under the witcher and fix it this shit
