very exciting at first. even in "cheat" creative mode. But having flown here and there, I saw that everything is pretty monotonous ...

48 cells (MAXIMUM) inventory - 48 cells (MAXIMUM) a ship (moreover, a ship regardless of its external size), i.e. on a ship that looks like a truck with wings, can I take only 2 backpacks that I carry behind my back? And THIS is normal in the opinion of the developers?
Moreover, do not forget that some of these 48 cells are occupied by installed technologies ...
I played version 1.2, so there you could disassemble the technology and get a cell 1 of 100, transfer it to your inventory and craft cubes; balls; what drops out of the guards up to 100 out of 100, etc. (I disassembled the garbage in the cannon and get 1 out of 100 aquaspheres - collect them as many as you like ...)
In version 1.34, the developers have replaced everything with 5 cells. What nonsense !!! And 100 was not enough! For compensation, they added 25 cells to the backpack (LOAD) of 5 pieces or 500 rubles, i.e. like on a ship.
(Developed to be bullied!?!?!?!) Now it turns out that I can carry more in my backpack with a scaf than throw it into the ship (WHAFK WHERE STILL or at least the trunk?)
Moreover, it also turns out that it is more profitable to carry the ore than the finished product. Let's take a simple example - in the addition of a backpack (LOAD) when transferring a pumpkin, they take 500 out of 500 of this number, you can make 10 - volt cells, BUT if you throw ready-made cells, you get 5 out of 5 in the same slot. In theory, the finished product is always less than the volume of ore spent on its production.
About cargo ships: most likely the maximum will also be 48 cells (the magic number for developers - chtoli), I still have 31 cells. The ship is huge! From the football field. 1000 ores or 10 items of objects are placed in the cells, but it is only worth throwing in there - that you do not want to sell - rare ore - for example (Nickel - I only met it in the 5th system, where the new mineral Rubium is)

My further experience was reduced to the same type of gameplay, which did not change in any way from system to system, and soon I just abandoned it without any desire to return there. But we must pay tribute: sometimes the game gave out truly beautiful picturesque views, on the contemplation of which you could spend a lot of time. And now the largest (according to the developers' assurances) update NEXT comes out ... what has changed? Yes, in general, nothing ... Yes, they added a lot of features like their own flotilla and a third-person view, but this only expands the gameplay, and does not deepen it, leaving it as superficial, with co-op, in truth, it becomes more interesting to play (as in any other game with such an opportunity), but unfortunately this does not affect the state of affairs in any way. As a result, we have an insanely beautiful and endless universe open to the player, whose mind was placed in the body of a baby. The potential is huge, but before it is realized, as before the Moon.

I love sandboxes, resource gathering, base building, etc. But NMS, as it was wow ***, remained with them, but for a different reason. Literally just started the game. I arrive on one planet, but the fuel for takeoff has run out and there are no resources for its creation in my inventory. Trying to gather resources on the planet ... and nifig is not going to. Nothing at all. You can dig the earth, but you cannot collect resources. And what is asked to do now? Quitting this idiotic game is obvious.

Among other things, the third person is not very convenient, and the buttons for switching the view are not listed in the control. The control itself is still the same idiotic, with keystrokes instead of just pressing. And it doesn't even make sense on a gamepad. The graphon is still poor, but there is no optimization. As the story progresses, you are immediately taught to build a base, although in a game with such a vast open world, I would like to do anything but not build a base. Starbound at least had the ability to create teleporters and visit your base from anywhere. The interface is overloaded in places. There is no logic that the character's inventory is larger than the starting ship's inventory.

One cannot argue with the fact that this is a unique, global, widely discussed and ambitious project, with all its pros and cons.

On planets can start storms, storms of fire, ice, acid, etc.

There are planets where the conditions are generally complete tin, it’s even impossible to stay there for a short time, not about something to explore or build bases.



Alien portals like in the movie Stargate where you have to type in a certain address but again you just can't do it, you have to learn all the glyphs.




The ability to build your own base, huge factories for processing and selling resources, and factories can be really huge to grow back, there are a lot of different parts for construction, but for this you need to open them first.



Another very unique detail in the game is such a mechanic that the factories work even when your game is not running, let's say the factory fills the oxygen storage in 24 hours, you can turn off the computer, turn it on in a day and the warehouses will be filled, this is very cool.



Most of all, I was pleased that the construction was made as simple as possible, unlike the same Fallout 4, here you can sculpt buildings, pipes, cables and various elements almost as you like, and this is perhaps one of the coolest features that have been developed.



The second not less cool feature is that you can build a portal almost anywhere and move around all the planets and stations without spending a lot of time flying, this is generally one of the best ideas in games.
Another unique element is that the developers came up with a language learning system, by communicating you learn new words and understand other races better, and as an upgrade you can also install an automatic translator that will help you with this.



Again, in fact, for the first time I see such a feature as terraforming in the game, yes there are strategies with such mechanics, but there it is implemented in a completely different way, right there you can switch the weapon to the drill and make any tunnels, this is really very cool, again you can mine resource deposits with similar mechanics.



You can buy any ship you like, or even a frigate, if you had money.

A huge number of different upgrades for the costume, weapons and of course for your ship.

In addition to your ships (of which there may be several), you can have a whole fleet of Frigates, hire pilots and specialists, send the fleet on expeditions and on various missions, while receiving a bunch of different goodies.



A cool system of hyperjumps and the fact that the ship needs to be fueled by various elements also applies to the suit, life support system and resistance to harmful effects.



A cool system of upgrades, repair and creation of items, again, in order to create something, you must first study the scheme.



Minuses.

Unfortunately, the places for research are at best a base consisting of a couple of rooms, one can not even dream of multi-level, complex locations, and this is sad.



Stations on planets and space stations are essentially all carbon copies, and this is the saddest thing, again, at the stations there are only humanoid life forms of some kind of unique specimens, as in the cartoon I have already mentioned more than once. The mystery of the third planet simply does not exist, this is also very upsetting and kills the atmosphere of the game.



There are essentially no enemies, except for the guards (almost all life forms are not aggressive), again, the combat is weak and the arsenal of weapons is limited to a couple of barrels.



You can not change the appearance of the ship, repaint it and replace various elements, even when you make upgrades in appearance, nothing changes.



Another huge drawback is that it is impossible to rearrange upgrades from one ship to another, also with a multitool.
