Which GTA has the best story? (Grand Theft Auto 5)

In General,the best thought out story is in GTA4!!!
First:History is definitely intertwined with the expansions to the game(the Ballad and the lost and DMT).

In San Andreas it was the same. Carl rarely did the job of one, especially in Los Santos. In the Fourth part of the story is head and shoulders above anything that came before it. The characters are better designed, more colorful. Plus besides the main plot there are other storylines. It and the line with diamonds and the Russian mafia, and Italian, and a few no less interesting.
The story of the protagonist is spelled out better, it has its own history, its view of life, their principles.
Secondary characters are also well thought out. Funny to watch, interesting to listen with them even just fun to go in the car, so good they spelled out.
Generally, it is perfectly clear that GTA 4 is a game in which R* really put a lot of work into the plot. He is more Mature than before, more interesting.

The plot is naturally in the top four, but as it shows - one can only regret.
