What fps you consider to be minimally comfortable in games?
For me personally the shooters - at least 60. Although Far CRy 3 games with 40, first slightly lacked the feelings, but in two hours used. But in action from 3 persons all very different. For example, if the same Batman Arkham Origins sometimes feel uncomfortable there, but when measuring it turned out - 60-70 fps, recently played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (all smooth, macho, without lags and freezes), I decided to measure fps nothing better to do - turned out to be 35-40. But feel how all 60.
And you have been so? Play and think - flies, and measure - BAM - 30 fps. And Vice versa, it seems like slows down and fps in the hundreds.
24 fps is the norm, which is perceived by the human eye, anything below is already lag, and above all that - have little different, so I have enough 24 - 30, but if it is 100, then I don't mind)
For me personally, less than 45 FPS - not playable. The monitor is 75 Hz, the difference between 60 and 75 there is
20. But it still depends on the game itself. In solso, for example, a striking difference in perception between 30 and 45.
30 fps is optimal but it is better to raise to 60 (in shooters).

my eyes get tired at 60 Hz faster. and of course the difference is not particularly noticeable. Although I understand that it's not flicker like CRT monitors, but still get tired faster.
The more dynamic the game the more fps must be. as many have written from 40 to 100-120.
The above 24. Although better, of course 30-60.
In General, the most vysokovaty game of all times and peoples initially went to 20 FPS and no one complained.
Personally under my eyes exceptionally comfortable 40. 32-35 is when I see it and it's annoying. If there are 50 frames and more - all smartly.
30 frames and you have diagnosed a leaking eye, 50 frames and you being healthy Schwartz are as 1 Peter in the form of potatoes.
Yes, and the minimum and maximum of 60fps. less – visible brakes, and more – is visible nothing.
if there are no problems in the memory subsystem, even 30-40 fps will feel smoother, because not tutterow, breaks and freezes due to the consistently small time frame.
Depends in what games. If this is Unreal Tournament, in which my friends and I still play on the network (once a week for 14 hours without a break!) the minimum comfortable frame rate in the order of 80-90 (monitor at 120 Hz) . And if it odnopolchanina RPG, shooter or even what, then 50-60 stable enough.
