What fps you consider to be minimally comfortable in games?
For me personally the shooters - at least 60. Although Far CRy 3 games with 40, first slightly lacked the feelings, but in two hours used. But in action from 3 persons all very different. For example, if the same Batman Arkham Origins sometimes feel uncomfortable there, but when measuring it turned out - 60-70 fps, recently played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (all smooth, macho, without lags and freezes), I decided to measure fps nothing better to do - turned out to be 35-40. But feel how all 60.
And you have been so? Play and think - flies, and measure - BAM - 30 fps. And Vice versa, it seems like slows down and fps in the hundreds.
On the first budget PC bought from my own money, I sat with 30-40 fps at the average-minimum. Later I moved to the middle class and got used to 60. Now, of course, in most games, even stable 45-50 are perceived with slight discomfort.
I recently purchased a new monik, which, in addition to my basic requests, has 144 hertz as a bonus. The difference with frequent scrolling in the browser or in documents is very noticeable, no more 60 hertz in work tasks.
I play at 144, in fast games, less is not very much, in other games I don’t care, but not less than 40-60.
If a network game, then from a hundred and above, if a regular one, then so that there are honest and smooth 60 fps.
Stability is more important than specific values. If there are no visible drawdowns and slowmo, then this is enough, and 40 or 140 is not very important.
