-Start the game;
-In the menu of the game choose "Options-'gt;Display." The default is English...
Feature:
This is not a Russifier error, but a feature of the American file GTAIV.exe or EFLC.exe, as it is corrected read below.
If you have trouble displaying the action buttons, you need to go down in the tre, where you have the keyboard language, press the right button on the "RU" or "EN" icon to choose "options," then choose "default english" input language - save and all the letters are displayed normally.
Attention:
If you had before that there was some other Russifier from 1C (100 mb and above), you will have to reinstifies the game because scripts, trainers, etc. modifications will not work. What we were given as a Russifier, were files from the Russian patch (only without shader)...
FROM MYSELF:
Translation of the names of missions approximate (word for word to translate there is no sense, it will turn out nonsense), according to the plot of the game ... If anyone thinks they can translate better, I'm waiting for your suggestions...

DonkiPongGamer first I agree with you and others, that the name of the missions is not worth translating, well, still decided and so they did not even translate, and "invented new" of course relying on the American versions, and after the passage of missions (as you wrote there "the whole sense is lost", for people who do not know the language it is not at all, so decided to translate), secondly the phrase MOMMA'S BOY does not translate as "Mommy's son" (in English Mamaykin son is not at all different phrase) , and we decided that it somehow does not apply to the mission, most likely the translation would sound like "Mother Boy" (sex.). We wanted to translate KIBBUT'NUMBER ONE as "Kibbutz (1C ending -uts, not -atz) number one" but decided that it does not sound, and number one meant the older brother ... "Got with your pants down" doesn't sound like other options, we sounded even worse. And thirdly, we do not need a literal translation of mission names (believe me we know how to translate verbatim), and we need your translation options (in your interpretations), if you understand what I mean, what meaning you make in the name and preferably such options in more that there was something to choose from ...
So if that doesn't sound, or it seems that translated not as you would like, we will gladly consider your options write without hesitate ...
THE phrase MOMMA'S BOY does not translate as "Mummy's son" (in English Mamenkin's son is given a completely different phrase), and we decided that it somehow does not apply to the mission, most likely the translation would sound like "Mother's boy"
Well, yes, it meant something similar, but certainly not "Son of Your Mom." It's kind of incomprehensible.
and we need your translation options (in your interpretations)
Well, if so, I'll review the mission names and interpret them in my own way, so:
The Lost and Damned:
CLEAN AND SERENE - FULL AND GOOD - to begin calmness and purification sounds not so competent. Rather, there was something of a "purity and order," words that are often found and used in Russian language together, like "clean and serene" in English.
ANGELS IN AMERICA - ANGELS IN AMERICA - here I have almost no complaints, but still the grammar of Russian and English are very different from each other, so it is rather more appropriate something like "angels from America", "angels of America" or something like that.
IT'S WAR - WAR - here you did not coal-fired the article "it's", in this Way in Russian should sound like "It's a war" (a hint of an impending war between gangs).
ACTION/REACTION - ACTION/ ACTION - here by the word "action" was not meant by the action itself, but by the action, which in Russian sounds so. Of course, I can't give my own translation version, but yours is also not very good.
LIBERTY CITY CHOPPERS - CHOPPERS LIBERTY CITY - there are no pretensions, the meaning is preserved and the translation is correct.
BAD COP DROP - DOSNKO - well, well, not only that you missed the word "bad", so also hitched the bride from where the "kill". Here I can't give my options, which would get along with the plot of the mission, because I did not have the patience to pass TLaD, but still there must be something like "death of a briber."
BUYER'S MARKET - THE WORLD - pretty dry. It's the word "buyer's market" and translated as "deal." Maybe write a "buyer's shop" or something, but definitely not a "deal."
POLITICS - POLITICO - well, perhaps, no complaints.
OFF ROUTE - ANOTHER ROUTE - here is more of an off-road ride, and it sounds better.
COMING DOWN - BREAKING - frankly, I don't know how "coming down" will translate, but the breakdown fits the description of the mission and somehow fits with the meaning.
THIS SHIT'S CURSED - REALLY - well, statistical error of novice translators. You should probably already know that "shit" doesn't mean shit at all, but rather close to "shit," "shit," "fucking." And the phrase will sound like "this shit happened."
HIT THE PIPE - BREAKING - what about the attack? It's about some hits and so on. But you can leave as it is, still adequately this phrase can not translate.
END OF CHAPTER - LOCAL DISASSEMBLY - there will be a "end of the chapter" if anything, maybe the plot of the mission somehow knits, but this phrase the developers wanted us to hint at some changes or ends.
HEAVY TOLL - ROAD TAX - all is right, but more sonorous "toll tax."
MARTA FULL OF GRACE - GRACEFUL MARTA - I don't know, I don't seem to have any complaints, but the meaning still somehow goes into a hole.
BAD STANDING - NO POSITION - No claims.
SHIFTING WEIGHT - REALLY WINNER - hmm, maybe still "changing weight" or something like that? I just don't notice the words "female" and "influence" anywhere.
DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH - DIAMOND - in general, it sounds like "unprocessed diamonds", but "diamonds" will also come off.
ROMAN'S HOLIDAY - THE ROMANA - no pretensions.
COLLECTOR'S ITEM - COLLECTOR'S ITEM - well, it's more likely to be like an "object from the collection" because it's more in tune.
WAS IT WORTH IT? "WERE YOU WORTH ALL THIS? - I do not know, and there is a woman in the name, but it will be translated as "was it worth it?".
GET LOST - THE LAST CONCE - no, there is more in the sense of "becoming a Missing" or "become one of the Lost".
I WANT ONE OF THOSE - I need ONE of them - I do not have my options, you can leave as is.
PROC ODD JOBS - WORK - well, there will be a "dirty job of a prosecutor."
I have no complaints about the additional missions of Angus and Stubbs, but there should be somehow corrected in the Russian way.
The Ballade of Gay Tony":
I LUV L.C. - I LOVE L.S. - As you can see, the word "luv" is written the way it is usually written on the Internet or in a modern way. In Russian language, of course, there is no worthy replacement for the word "Luv" but it would be possible to write something like "ia abaja l.S." for a semantic load.
MOMMA'S BOY - SON OF YOUR MOTHER - actually, as mentioned above, you can write "mommy boy."
CORNER KIDS - SMALL BARYGI - no pretensions.
PRACTICE SWING - EXPERIENCE PLAYER - there are no claims to the translation, but the "practice of impact" sounds more beautiful.
KIBBUT' NUMBER ONE - KIBBUTS NO ONE - well, if you don't like "kibbutz number one" you don't like, you can write "kibbutz number one". Yes, it's even better that way.
CHINESE TAKEOUT - CHINA CALCULATION - no pretensions.
BANG BANG - TWO - no, well, why? More like a "big bang." Although the plot is the first fits.
CLOCKING OFF - TIME - NO pretensions.
BLOG THIS!... - BLOG!... - there is no adequate translation to this phrase, but you can write "write a blog" rather than just "blog".
BOULEVARD BABY - SLUT - rather "tiptoe off the boulevard" but one horseradish, the meaning is the same q)
FROSTING ON THE CAKE - CAKE ON MILLION - uh, no cake and no million here was out of the question. And the correct translation here is "the icing on the cake."
SEXY TIME - TIME SEX - ho-ho-ho, weird. If you do not remember, in this mission we are chasing the helicopter "buzzard" (which, incidentally, is quite sexy in forms), which should hijack for Yusuf. So it's going to translate as "sexual time."
HIGH DIVE - BREAKING THE WORLD - "high dive." If you remember, in this mission we jump with a parachute from a tall building.
NOT SO FAST - NOT SO FAST - no pretensions.
CAUGHT WITH YOUR PANTS DOWN - CAUGHT WITH STUN PANTS - well, more competently "caught without pants."
LADIES' NIGHT - LOVE - there will be just quite used in Russian, and in English "party for ladies."
GOING DEEP - FREE TO THE ABYSS - "go deep."
DROPPING IN - BEACH - well, there may be a "descent in," but I'm not sure. Leave it as it is.
IN THE CROSSHAIRS - BEFORE - "in the crosshairs." Forgotten the fairy tale about Ivan the Fool?
THIS AIN'T CHECKERS - SHAH AND MAT - rather "it's not for you to play chess." Hint at the complexity of the mission (I think).
FOR THE MAN WHO HAS EVERYTHING - FOR THE MAN WHO HAS EVERYTHING - NO PRETENSIONS.
NO. 3 - NUMBER 3 - also without pretensions.
LADIES HALF PRICE - LOVE FOR THE POLICE - I do not understand, and here beloved. As you may have noticed, Louis is not one of those who prefers monogamous relationships, he is ready to fuck everything and everything. So it's better than a half-price girl.
PARTY'S OVER - FINAL FORECAST - or it means "party is over", which hints at the work of Louis and Tony, or it is the "end of the party" that hints at the past mission with chess, or it is a game of words and means both versions. Anyway, without losing the sense here can not do, so leave as it is.
DEPARTURE TIME - "time to leave" if you haven't forgotten, in this mission Tony wanted to eat... to stay as far away from everyone as possible.
CLUB MANAGEMENT - ADMIN CLUB - "club management."
Finally, I will say that the translations are quite bearable, but the literacy will have to work.
DonkiPongGamer thanks! But again, the exact translation is known to all, I will explain by example what I want - "FROSTING ON THE CAKE" to Americans I have no doubt that the meaning is clear, but to the Russian? The point of the mission is that the cook takes the pants out of the ship and asks for them a couple of million (and the conversation mentions his professional activities, I do not remember verbatim, but something like what you have prepared for us, etc.) well, and then the brew, and we mean the mission will translate as "the icing on the cake" or on a cupcake or on a cake or cake from glaze, etc.. My opinion is delusional... The cook has prepared something for us and asks for it a few million, and now give me a semantic load, understandable To the Russian and that this load is not far from the original name (well, in some cases about the original name can be forgotten)...
to be honest, I didn't understand what the name meant and how it could be translated. And I didn't get the cake either. The chef gives us the pants. And just these very trousers can be considered frozen -om (see powder, powder) of the pie (a snub over the profession of the seller). I just don't know any other explanation.
By the way, I would like to ask a question: will this Russifier work with the trainer? I just have a Rusifier from ENPY, but it's pretty rough and glitchy, I wanted something more literary.
DonkiPongGamer of course will (look at the screens, they are with a working trainer), otherwise I would not have edited it. But if you have a version of the game from 1C (and you put from the top of the American patch), or you installed a Russifier from 1C, which weighs 100-plus MB, then the trainer will not work (because there are Russian encrypted files).
The trainer should be installed on the pure American version with this Russifier or from ENPY, in other cases the trainer (scripts) may not work...
krutish, of course, but I have another problem: when installing a Russifier, it stops in the middle and yells that it is impossible to create any file. Maybe we should run the installer on behalf of the administrator or something? Explain, please.
P.S. Oh, it all came out, launched on behalf of the admin and everything went. I'm sorry to bother you.)
JJJ oh thanks to the Rusik staged earned! and others did not work! 10 (and how to rate?????).
Please tell me what files you need to reserve to, if anything, go back to the English version?
The installation file prevents you from installing it in an empty folder.
Ruslan1984 Recovery files already exist, if you write something, but I warn you, you still do not know what files are needed for Russification (created the same installer protected from left copy)...
krutish
Thank you! While I didn't put the Russifier, I was waiting for an answer. I'm going to try.
Then I'll definitely say no! :)
Thank you very much for the Russifier (EFLC 1.1.2.0 English persons), and then all the nerves were exhausted because of the fact that the nativist on the Rusika from 1C.
The russifier works perfectly! Everything is clear and the main thing after it works. Thanks again krutish!
I downloaded the Russifier a month ago, but all hands could not be tested. Today, with a sense of complete satisfaction, I can express a huge gratitude to krutish. In my opinion, the best Russifier (tried everything that is in free access in the net). Thank you!
LOL, Krutish, look! ))

Gee...
I've got a problem. Put long ago this Rusik on episodes, everything was fine ... Yesterday came the younger brother, asked to play the original Gtashka, I hacked ... And there instead of the Russian language hieroglyphics.
Patch 1004, multi-yaz.
Apparently we'll have to roll over the patch and Rusik.
In general, another small shortage of Rusik for EfLS
