Graphics (Red Dead Redemption 2)
Is it me or in DDR 2, the dialogue is worse than in Witcher 3 and in the Odyssey? What do you say about this?
and the funny thing is, it's all an illusion. and they sell it to us for real money. 😒

Who's trying to pass it off as 2K? Did I write that somewhere? On the contrary I said it through DSR, i.e. 2K. And even this "pseudo" gives improvement. You write that the difference in the picture and 4k did not see. How can you not see it... I don't know.

On what screenshots do I rate the quality, and the clown, on this?
Spoiler By screenshot with resolution 1920s1200?? screenshot... With the video ... You'll be with You're. You'd still have a monitor on your phone.

I ran it in 4K, but the picture is the same. Don't believe me, watch the official trailer.
You suggest in the evaluation of graphics to rely on the squeezed video on YouTube, rather than what I see on my monitor during the game, and I am not alone, judging by the comments.
Even in the screenshots there is a difference, not to mention when you watch live

Peeple checks some left screenshots, turn on dsr 4k at home, if you hack 4k, without taa, and even with x2 msaa and find there at least some sign of soap pliz

yes I'm so wildly annoying playing with msaa 2x smoothing but here's this loading of foliage and trees straight out of the eye spoils all the impression twisted setting didn't help
Finally got to RDR 2... And... What's in the graphics game?
I understand, of course, that I have 1060 6gb (it, by the way - in the recommended), but what the hell on the average settings in Full HD so squalid look trees? He put everything on the ultra, for the sake of interest, except smoothing - nothing has changed.
Just porridge from pixels!
I bet TAA - halima soap, just horror.
I bet FXAA - washed pixel porridge.
And MSAA 8 x, sorry - not everyone will pull.
So many games with the open world, everywhere played without smoothing - nowhere was this ripple/porridge/grain pixels in the background. Everything looked good, but with a ladder. And then the foliage in the distance - just stains running from each other pixels ...

On medium and low soap as on a flat, NADO TODY HIGH, then normal and the face of the character too, if not pulling, try to resolve the screen for less to put, but in the settings only high and higher, personally my opinion on experience.
Anti 4it
Because the game is a direct console port, the consoles also use TAA.
For clarity, use Nvidia Image Sharpening, or put the Geforce Experience, use Nvidia Freestyle, the Sharpness filter, while TAA average, TAA sharpness in half.

Yes to that and the point - that either put MSAA x8, or contemplate pixel or soap nightmare on the screen. Regardless of other graphics settings.
There is also an option to use TAA and scaling resolution x2, which heavily loads the graphics card - and in fact pointless, because the image is rendered in 2K and shrinks to FullHD.
Other games do not need to be smoothed or scaled. Vegetation is displayed correctly. And here...
The Witcher 3, GTA 5, etc. - forests have always been normal, never used smoothing - not a fan, although pulls a lot where.
Anti 4it
If it doesn't.
Try to put:
Texture quality - high
anisotropic filtering - x2
triple buffering and vertical synchronization - on
SSAO shading - average
TAA smoothing - average
The rest is ALL - BEFORE.
PeaJI4eJI
I'll tell you more - I have a higher set than you recommend. And fps average about 50.
The problem is the vegetation, namely the trees and a little bit in the grass - they are washed into pixel mash. And when you turn on TAA - everything turns into soap soap.
I even twisted everything on the ultra without smoothing. Fps sagged to 15-20, of course. But the vegetation is still poured on the pixels, which looks very lousy.
The problem is solved only by TAA - scaling resolution x1.5 - 2, or MSAA x4-8, then the picture is at least a little - but clearer and more beautiful. But of course fps sags a lot.
It's a shame - in other games there are no such whistlings. Vegetation is displayed correctly without dancing with tambourine.
Anti 4it
I personally everything is fine, no whistling, the picture is clear, clear, on board gtx 1080ti with which I play in 4k and fps less than 50 does not fall, on average 54-55, the quality of the picture does not compare with the flat (because the game and there is) no soap at high settings and above.
I sat down - pick up the smoothing settings and say that the worst implementation of smoothing than in the 2nd I have not seen in any game. You turn on the smoothing (even with the maximum TAA sharpen) - get soap and distorted textures. Turn it off - everything is full and shimmers from the porridge of pixels. Moreover, even on 4K it looks flawed.
