Technical problems. (Prince of Persia: Warrior Within)
So people, better late than never ...All questions related to this topic, ask here!
The drivers did not help :( I
installed on nVidia - 190.62.
DirectX is also new (certainly new as for this game).
It costs .NET Framework 2.0 and Visual C ++ 2005.
What else could it be? I checked on two versions of the game: in English and Akellovsky! .Exe
version: 1.0.0.188
And what kind of vidyuha? The game is ancient, maybe your vidyuha is too cool for her)))
I looked for patches, but did not find :(
Duc on the second prince and there are no patches xD
Think about the screen resolution, I personally had similar problems and yes, on my new computer - on which games do not run until 2000 (by the way, it's a pity ...)
"Duc to the second prince and there are no patches"
I know that there are no patches (but there was hope) - the game is multiplatform, they immediately make it normal.
The computer is new, old games are also junk (those that came out at the beginning of the millennium). It is a pity that this game also got into the "junk" section :(
Well, thanks for trying to help! Maybe someday , by a lucky chance, I will stumble upon a possible elimination of this trouble! :)
in my opinion this is not a critical bug - I somehow passed the game with it, it's just not beautiful, that's all)
People, I have a problem: there is no image in the game, everything is black, but the silhouettes of the characters are barely visible.
OS: windows vista
ATP for advice)) but I found a solution) in the options, the fog turned off and the rules seemed to be, only somehow he began to run too quickly.
This is due to the multi-core processor. In the Task Manager, after starting the game, set the process with the game to be processed with only one core.
Mm, but I'll ask myself: I have it on one computer, it works at a resolution of 1280, and on the other above 1024 it does not want. What the hell is this? The version of the drivers is the same, and in general, manipulations with different versions did not help.
Yes, the monitor is a regular 19-inch. Everywhere he quietly puts 1280, here the slider in the graphics settings is in the rightmost position and there is a value of 1024 (on the second computer, the value is 1280). In the first part, by the way, the same problem. I have not tried the third one yet.
but in my opinion this igruhi has just a maximum of 1024 ... the game is still not new ...
DupaVoz [Viy], what is the diagonal? On my old monica I had a square one and the best resolution was set, right now it's rectangular - the runner doesn't want to go to the end

Eh, today I put the Prince to run again and saw the same thing: D You can do without the firewood rollback, just cut out the fog (Fog). By the way, the image will become darker and sharper :)
Regarding my problem (Corrosion 08/27/09 03:20), I also found the reason. It is necessary to cut out the shadows altogether (ie None) and the glitch will not happen again. Shadows are cast only by the player and monsters, so this does not spoil the overall picture of the game.
There is also a bug in the aunt of the game (The Two Thrones) - when anti-aliasing is turned on (no matter how many, 2x, 4x or more) the texture of the water is visible through the walls and floor. Disabling anti-aliasing removes this.
By the way, I also have a widescreen monitor and old games that are not designed for it do not allow me to set the resolution higher than the vertical of the monitor (Gothic, Silent Hill, and others).
