Hmm, DooM 3 for me is still the best game Id, all their subsequent Quakes and Reiji are nonsense, there are a lot of such shooters from other developers. Apparently, Carmack also understands this, so while they are trying to come up with something with a quarter part, so far they are spoiling fans with reprints

But that's developed, taking into account their ingenious logic in recent years, they will say: we did not think that Doom 3 remake would fail in sales. This showed that the players don't need doom, they need colo-efficiency, so we will make Rage 2, and on Doom 4 we will beat the hell out.
