Impressions of the game v.2 (Rage)
Continuation of the theme First impressions of the game!Friends! And advise something similar! Boderlands GOTY liked it too. What else is there like these toys?
Yes, the igruha is beautiful, the mochilova are so invigorating)), I agree with tty01 about textures. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s a "caridorny walker": you can’t jump anywhere, you don’t climb over anything, you don’t go much, you don’t break the furniture (((, but otherwise interesting and beautiful!
Bear Grylls To hell with her, with graphics. The game is without a soul.
not like the old Wolf))
good game, great graphics and interesting plot. first evoked associations with borderlands. but then I realized that there was nothing in common, Rage is much better considering the weapons (and the sight is terrible in borderlands), and especially because of the distinctive weapon of this game "wing-stick", and the main and additional tasks. I would give this game 7 out of 10
Mr.CheSter
well, about the plot, you got messed up, I didn’t really like it, it doesn’t catch on, and the graphics aren’t very modern, but they’re not so bad in principle, but it doesn’t add a positive assessment, but the wing-sticks did it very cool, I would give it 6.5 - 7 out of 10
all spoil dibilnyh glitches, why is there a bug? I have headlights edge 3 on medium stably works, and then some kind of show off
partizan2033 lol my headlights edge on the laptop flies at maximum speed)) I'm silent about the rage - 60 fps like from a bush)
Rip Star
IN GENERAL IS MY FAVORITE GAME)) do not look at me like that, I played the first felout and in the shadow of Chernobyl and in the metro 2033) but this game drags on with the atmosphere forever)
Great game) I replayed it. Exactly three years ago I played it when it came out)) I played 22 hours. Liked everything. I can't even remember games like this one. There is a lot of fan news, the atmosphere of the wild west is present. Minigames, maps, sewers, races. Of course, you can find fault with everything, I would like to develop every aspect. But I hope that the sequel will still appear. And problems with textures will already be a thing of the past) =)
I must say right away that I have a repack with 1 patch. I play on a laptop with a poor Radeon HD4550 and Core2Duo 2.1GHz and drags more than 30 fps on low-medium.
The game itself is not so much bad as unfinished. A mutant the size of a building can be fired at least 10 missiles in the heart - none will count. You smash drones, destroy government bases, and in the Underground they won't recognize you in the UPOR.
A camera on a car with a "return" and without the ability to zoom out / zoom in. The handling is even worse, super sharp and the speed is lost when cornering.
At the end, there is no boss, no freeplay. Playing very easy is MORE DIFFICULT than max. The same natives (Jackals) without armor can withstand half-cartridges of steel cartridges or 1-3 buckshot. Honest hearts are much better in style and design.
It is not even clear what it is: a hybrid of Fallout 3 with Doom 3 or with Quake 4 (very much robotic mutants resemble Strogs and the design is more Dumovian).
I pass the second time at the maximum ... I think 7-7.5 points deserves.
Cool game. An open world, but not a big one. The graphics are not high, the soundtrack is normal, the engine is good, The gameplay is strange in terms of the plot, it seems to be there but not intricate 3 main locations and quests of the same type. Came to a new location Prove that you are a worthy warrior and win the race to get a new Car, this is the basis of the basics. The races are well done. Completed the Main Storyline + half of the left quests in 6 hours +/-. But even after I helped the resistance and the government pulled them after the main quest line, they again stand in the city and prevent me from going HOOLI? In this style, the game Terminator would look gorgeous, it would be cool. and yes the arsenal of Weapons is Huge and varied. The game resembled FallOut New Vegas and Red Faction Guerrilla
The game is not bad, everything has already been said about the gameplay and graphics, but ..
After these games, they still criticize the ending of Mass Effect 3, are you serious? In ME 3, at least everything is more or less logical, the plot is over, everything happened so and so ..
What's in Rage? I came to the Government base. He killed about a dozen soldiers and a little less mutants. I turned on three switches. Showed a short video "nothing". And .. That's it. What does the government really want? Who is General Cross? Do you want to know? And here are the figurines. There is not even the notorious boss at the end of the game - and this is in the game from Id Software! After the video - everything. Go back to the wasteland, dear man, mind your own business.
The overall impression is strange. As a shooter from Id Software (which is exactly what I was expecting) - very good, varied and interesting. On the other hand, it feels like the game is missing about half of the content. Tasks are template. The characters are made of cardboard and are not revealed at all. The plot is generally cut off - well, such an ending does not work.
My result is 7.5 out of 10. It's interesting to play, but the "full" version would be much better.
In anticipation of the mad max, I decided to go through this igruhu. Passed on "difficult". In general, I liked the game, the ending spoiled the final impression. But first things first.
The plot is rather for show. You climb out of the capsule, kill 400 bandits, the end. The main theme of the arks, the government is not disclosed.
Gameplay: It is the gameplay that draws the game. Robots, turrets, radio-controlled cars, a bunch of weapons, a bunch of enemies - the game does not let you get bored. Also quite interesting "auto-battles", albeit monotonous.
Graphics: I liked the design of the locations very much. But these texture loadings when you turn around ...
The ending is a separate topic. This is what we were prepared for the last few hours of the game. You buy cartridges like for a war, collect robots, anticipate an epic battle in the enemy's lair - and you get a 10-minute post-fire. 10 minutes of running down the hallways, Karl!
Total - 7.5
The game is shit: soapy textures, a small world, a terribly banal plot, few weapons. I liked only the race and the music at the beginning and that's it.
this game is a fucking bad clone of borderlands. I'm not going to play this, much less pay
I liked the game, especially oddly enough graphics - to paraphrase - "warm lamp graphics"
A game from the authors of DOOM, QUAKE and other famous and iconic monosyllabic titles.
Post-apocalypse. A game filled with cliches (mutants, evil Government, resistance, the chosen one, shelters, etc.) and references to previous games of the legendary (no kidding) Id Software (and some others).
There is a lot to scold for. Behind the curve, the engine - the first time when the textures were launched in the game, it was not displayed at all. Now everything is fine, but they still load for an unacceptably long time. Even turning around, you see this load. The characters are beautifully drawn in terms of texture quality, but the environment for the most part is pretty bad.
The plot is banal, but relatively interesting, albeit filled with clichés. It's about the details. Of course, there is nothing masterpiece, but after each story quest in the city, something changes in terms of the NPC. They change poses and for the most part somehow comment on your actions, creating a living world. Despite the secondary nature, the world of the game turned out to be quite interesting. More than 100 years have passed since the catastrophe (Apophis did fall). People live in small cities, and gangs and mutants reign in the Wasteland.
For enemies. Kill bandits and collect belongings. Only kill mutants, because after killing they dissolve in the favorite manner of the creators. :) However, in the course of the plot it will receive a logical justification (as, indeed, in their other games).
A game with a relatively open world. There is a main city (one per chapter (two chapters in total) and a couple more small ones), around them is the Wasteland in the form of a huge race track and you need to move on it by cars (three types). Cars can be upgraded with coupons won in races. That is, this shooter with a small role-playing share also has full-fledged races. The only drawback is an inconvenient view in the car - the camera rotates only with the car.
Various transitions to storyline locations are spread across the wastelands.
Additional quests for the most part mean re-passing the already cleared quest lair of bandits / mutants / government. Both story quests and additional ones rest on the genocide of a single gang or the production of some important thing.
However, it is really interesting to fight. Although there are only three types of opponents (not counting battles in vehicles), they are quite diverse, not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of tactics and even movements. The character animations are great. Mutants jump on the walls, bandits make various somersaults and take cover in the folds of the terrain. In general, in every possible way and quite sophisticatedly knock down the sight. NPCs also boast a wide variety of movements.
The weapons did not disappoint either. Although it is for the most part standard, a rather strong crafting system comes into play here. In addition to various technical gadgets and improvements, each weapon has several types of ammunition, and very different, sometimes completely changing the tactics of the battle with a specific weapon. Thanks, for example, to the powerful "mommy" cartridge, even the initial pistol remains in demand (and how!) Until the very end of the game! I'm not talking about a puddle and a shock bolt of a crossbow, or even control over an enemy with its subsequent detonation.
But the most important thing in the game is beauty. Damn it, I don't even quite understand how they did it against the backdrop of a bunch of problems, but the game is incredibly beautiful even now! The level design is great! And in the Dead City (the level is really extremely atmospheric) you generally walk with your head up and with a dropped jaw, not paying attention to the mutants swarming around! Beautiful clouds! Damn, this is a must see! A detailed study of the world at its best!
It also has one of my favorite intro cutscenes in this game! Great music, incredibly epic! Slipping through, damn it!
That's just all this splendor in the first half of the game. When you move to a second city, things gradually decline, as if the developers have run out of energy and want to finally finish it. At the same time, the player also gradually gets tired of playing. There is no ending at all, and the final battle is just shooting several waves of enemies. Despite the fact that the first chapter has a branded giant boss, among everything else.
In general, for the first part of the game 10/10. For the second 6/10.
Only 8/10.
The game is catchy at the beginning, keeps a lot of possibilities in the middle (I haven't talked about a wide variety of mini-games yet) and spits on the player at the end.
Rage: The Scorchers
DLS from several missions with a common (not very interesting) plot. It differs for the most part sooooo (caves and finale) with beautiful locations, a beautiful girl and an excellent new cannon that combines (the choice of ammunition) a nail gun, an armature launcher and a laser that hits through walls. After a rather interesting boss, it will be possible to acquire your own house, where our trophies will be stored and a freshly saved girl with interesting dialogues will live.
8/10
