Struggle with friezes (Metro Exodus)
Here's an interesting problem, on any graphics settings (medium 45-60fps) game shamelessly frieze. Is there any way to overcome this excellent otpimization ?Iron Pentium g4560 + 1050ti (+ a little overclocking) + 8GB of RAM.
A simple query in Google and a bunch of falls instructions on how to limit access to a specific IP.
Why the author of the comments above make an effort to copy-paste instructions here, when you can find it.

well, sort of figured out how to block IP access, Google drove, looked on YouTube
Strange as it may sound, the problem with friezes, I have decided putting it on medium settings and filtering 16x. 1050ti i5-2300 8gb HDD

What's odd about it? The game for the first time progruzil everything you said, after re-pass all of these places have already been downloaded and huddled either in the RAM or in the paging file. I am inclined to think that all that the game loads initially goes to the swap file, because with 16 gigs of RAM the paging file is downloaded 30 gigs. And the RAM and up to 8 can not be reached. The question here is, what the fuck? Here on this SSD and solves the problem of the Frisians. NOT the DRAWDOWN of PERSONNEL AND FRISIANS(especially for smart). If your chariot is not able to squeeze out 60fps then you should not say that SSD is not helping you. I personally ssd helped to heal that's all the friezes of which you wrote. 7400 I5 8 ram gtx 1060(6).
p.s Well, don't discount divine protection, which rapes your hard. SSD at least cope with it.

I have almost the same system, and the rest of the graphics settings you set ? tessellation and detailed fiziks and hairworks included ?
Comp 4500Gz I5 2500K GTX 770 2G 8G DDR2 Shorter bucket is pretty ancient Made the paging file is forced on the SSD I have it is small only under the system and the program is not too large. The game itself on the HDD FREEZES are ALMOST gone.
Started to play on medium-disabled-frills, as determined by the game metro average of 50 in city and 40 with occasional dips to 30. In short, to such a system is tolerated, because making the low setting and reducing the resolution of the fps is not added

I don't go, I just guessed. That's better you tell me why my system is at least worthy to be the minimum recommended developers, but on any settings freezes? Why not use the RAM, a maximum of 6 gigs. Why the paging file is downloaded gigs for 10+ and growing, depending on played time. Why is the game frieze of the blue, when you move locations, and monitoring shows average CPU usage and slightly above the video card, but the card can be downloaded, corny increasing settings. Where then freezes? And fps had consistently shows 60(locked). Sometimes the slump, but literally a couple of seconds, and not so often. But I had to move the game to SSD, and lo and behold, the freezes disappeared. WHY? I assumed that all matter in the paging file, that's all. The game loads from there what is their needs, as well as HDD crap for speed, and friezes. Some on the HDD everything is perfect without a problem. Although they also have some who write only 8 ram. I don't know why they are doing well, and helped me only SSD. Let the experts explain what's going on here. Personally I don't care, I helped, I'm glad.
Reached the Caspian sea. On the advice of fellow Brock Samson put the paging file on a 16 GB SSD. Caspian switched to medium settings. As a result: stable 45 FPS (and maybe more), because I have a lock on this value. No subsidence no special notice. On the Volga played on high, because medium was not reflections on the water. In the Caspian graphics does not deteriorate when you switch to medium, and FPS is increasing order. To play is convenient and pleasant, so I see no problems, and then frightened by the fact that the Caspian sea zabagovanny all.
The config is simple: GTX1050Ti + 6400 i5 + 16GB RAM + SSD M. 2

All right. SSD provides instant access to the game files, because the Frisians (when the game is something loading from your files) no.
In short, I understand the game need SSD, without it there will be friezes and on fairly powerful computers...............
If you have more than eight gigabytes of RAM, there will be no freezes even if the game is installed on ssd. A friend suffered from similar problems, and then found and put another 4 GB of RAM, the amount was 12. The problem went away. And those who originally was 16 - she never experienced.

I have it installed on the HDD. I have stronger than his comp and still frisin is tough. My hardware i7 4770k + GTX 1060 3GB + 12GB RAM/

I confirm I Have 8гигов and Frisia on the HDD.In the settings of the paging file stood Automatically select OEM paging file Bypassed the problem of moving the paging file on the SSD because its circumference is not great. The Frisians did not. On this if you have a small SSD like me and the game will not go there do what I do.

Your system simply fire compared to my. Of course low FPS But freezes I have no

Hmm, you can read the thoughts of those who have 16GB of memory, time so categorically decide for everyone? I have 16GB of memory, but the friezes were before I moved the paging file on the SSD and made it the size equal to the size of RAM.

And I don't even vystovlyal volume of the file just banned to do it on the HDD
For some reason when the shots in someone else, or when something abruptly POPs up, a frieze? Terribly annoying, it happens the first 10 minutes of the game, and then freezes there.

When the amount of RAM in the system greater than or equal to around 16GB swap file is not required. Turn it off. The problem is that Windows sometimes uses it even when the available free RAM, and this slows down the processing for writing files on the HDD are much lower than in RAM.
The paging file is needed only to compensate for the lack of RAM, you yourself put yourself spokes in the wheel, including when available 16гиг of RAM.

Comrade, thanks for the advice, but I am well aware of what virtual memory is and how it is used by the OS (from Win98) and software and how many it is necessary.
The problem here is that Metro was created by people who do not have experience with open world in the technical part. Game no paging file is not working adequately and need this swap as much as possible. Several people (including me) noted that the nomination of a large number of Virt. memory on the SSD eliminates the Frisians, especially on the location of the Caspian sea. It's not a spoke in the wheel, this compensation krivorukost programmers responsible for implementing open world (and generally all that concerns the work with the RAM and the loading/unloading data used by the game).
