Rx 6600 xt video card frequency drops

Please help me bought a new video card rx 6600xt at 8gb, the problem is that in games the frequency of the video card drops from 2400 MHz to 700 MHz (the problem is in gta 5, since the frequency of the video card drops to 0 MHz there and friezes occur, I turn on vertical synchronization, there are no friezes, but, accordingly, no more than 60 frames, I insert an old gtx 960 4gb card, everything is fine, there are no friezes, the frequency is stable more than 1000 MHz) In other games, the frequency is also not constant, it can keep more than 2000 MHz, and then drop to 1000 MHz, but there seems to be no friezes. jump? I just asked people who have the same card and their frequency seems to be more or less stable and is it possible to fix this frequency somehow? , I'm afraid that something is wrong with the card (. If something does not heat up the card (somewhere around 61 degrees), I reinstalled the drivers, reinstalled windows, carried out tests in fur mark for about 10 minutes, where the frequency is stable more than 2000 MHz and the temperature is 61 degrees. Please help me, I don’t understand what the problem is. (The whole system is ryzen 5 3600, motherboard asus prime b 450 ma 2, 16 gb RAM, power supply 750w)

And so you have a problem in random access memory.
Your RAM runs at 2133MHz (your 1064 is multiplied by 2) and at cl15 timings. This is even worse than the performance of DDR3 memory.
What would you understand, my memory works at 3400 MHz and cl14 timings and these are pretty average values.
Spoiler
Overclock the RAM, GTA 5 is demanding on it.
If there is XMP in the BIOS - turn it on, if not - welcome to the wonderful world of overclocking RAM.
You need at least 3000-3200 MHz, and preferably 3400-3600 (cpu-z will show 2 times less, that is, for example, not 3200, but about 1600).
I don’t even want to ask what kind of RAM it is and why it works for you on 2133: D

ps I wanted to add a screen, deleted the post :/

Do a cache and memory test in Aida64, it will show you what's wrong with your memory, at what frequency and at what speed it works.
Try not 3200, but, for example, set 3000. Didn’t they accidentally pull out your old RAM in the service there and didn’t they put some kind of Chinese ultra deshman that didn’t know how to frequency standards?

Loken is not my RAM,
everything is fine)

with the same old card and the same RAM, there are no friezes

So you probably didn't have 160 with the old map and fps?

And with the card it means exactly all the rules?

E

Loken
Well, with the old one, yes, the fps is less) but also pretty big

Turn on the fps limit at the same level as the old map and see if the friezes persist. On the same graphics settings of course.

Your card is working fine.
But the RAM heh mda.

Ryzen 3600 has stock memory Ddr4 3200 and you have 2133! With this, it was necessary to start it below the drain, that is, a performance brake.

And what is 3200 in BIOS? https://forums.playground.ru/hardware/video/rx_6600_xt_padaet_chastota_videokarty-1011722/#comment-19107959

Not much bios, he threw off CPU-Z and this is Windows and there is 2133! Along the way, the strips start at 2133 in Windows.

so how to make it work at 3200 ?

Delay 125 ns: DDDDDDDDDDD The

question is as stupid as possible, but you never know - did you save the settings in the BIOS after the exit?
Just in case, I recommend downloading the latest BIOS for your motherboard from the manufacturer's website and flashing it. You can also change the battery on the motherboard.
You can also try to overclock the memory one at a time, pull the other out of the slot. Try different slots. Also try booting Windows from a Live CD and looking at cpu-z there, maybe the problem is in the kernel drivers of your installed Windows.
In short, you need to shaman with a tambourine over your Windows, motherboard and oz. With such a memory, you will freeze and lag a lot where.

, that is, if the RAM 2 bars can work at 3200, then is it necessary to install 1600 for each?

L
Loken 03.04.22

Eloi
No, that's not how it works. In cpu-z, it is divided by two, not because there are two strips. It will be divided into two even with one bar, this is a feature of DDR memory. The abbreviation DDR is translated as Double Data Rate, that is, "double data transfer rate." Therefore, the frequency is multiplied by two and instead of 1600 it shows 3200. The real memory frequency is 1600, but the effective 3200.

In short, set the BIOS to 3200 for one bar in the same way.

understood, I'll try, then I'll unsubscribe
