Aliasing in Gothic 3:) (Gothic 3)

Folk and why developed is not made in the Gothic style of antialising ? or at least tell me how wow switched on ? it's not pamet although Direct costs oktyaborskoy , drovishki 6.9 Catalysm , update for my anglicanae Gothic stands , card x1900xtx and even in the control center everything is on max with 6x antialising :)

Well, the owners of Radeon X1xxx. I think I can make you happy. Today, your humble servant managed to solve the riddle of anti-aliasing in Gothic 3. Just the other day, looking at early screenshots of the game, I saw that smoothing at a late stage of the game's development is still present. So the engine supports anti-aliasing. So there is a way to enable anti-aliasing. And I started looking for him. The idea of being able to make the game better not let me rest for 2 days. I have to say that the mere crossing out of the driver yielded no results. Slipped information that the anti-aliasing in the game is included in the same way as in oblivion, for which ATI released a special driver to enable AA in TES4. The problem was that special. driver for Gothic 3 came out. But what prevents us to cheat graphics driver? That's right - nothing. Therefore, following are detailed guidance for inclusion of anti-aliasing in Gothic 3 on a Radeon X1xxx (R5xx chips).
So, the order is as follows:
1) Download the latest version of the spec. Catalyst driver Beta for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - aka The Chuck Patch (http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=21960).
2) Remove the current graphics driver (ATI Display Driver only).
3) Reboot.
4) Run Driver Cleaner Professional (http://members.home.nl/mclaren2000/downloads/DCProSetup_15.zip). Select ATI as the filter and click the button Start, ie cleaned so the system from the remnants of last driver. This item is optional but desirable.
5) Put the new driver (the one that we have downloaded).
6) Go to the installation directory of the game and rename the game launching exe-schnick Gothic3.exe in oblivionlauncher.exe (this item is MANDATORY).
7) Forcing AA in the driver settings. This is done either using CCC (Catalyst Control Center) or through the tool from Ray Adams'a - ATI Tray Tools (V. 1.2.6.940).
8) start the game and enjoy the lack of the already rather podnadoevshih ladders and cloves. :)
In conclusion, this method is tested by me personally on the Radeon X1800 GTO2 (downclocked Х1800 HT) with the average position of the postprocessing in the game settings (to blur background). As the driver The Chuck Patch I used his older version (namely the July release). I think that this method will work with newer versions of Catalyst Beta for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - aka The Chuck Patch.

P. P. S. nVidia the way to enable antialiasing of course will not work (I wrote it just in case, and then suddenly someone will figure out to try on GeForc'Ah).
Will introduce a couple of amendments:
1) it Turns out that the way to enable AA in the game not only works for video cards Radeon Х1ххх, but also for cards Х800, X700, X300, etc. Might work even for a series 9ххх (starting with the Radeon 9500).
2) If you have the latest to date version of the display driver (Catalyst 6.10), the swing special. driver Oblivion - aka The Chuck Patch is not necessary, because starting with version 6.10 it is integrated into the regular Catalyst driver (a very wise decision on the part of Canadians, isn't it?). Remaining recommendations (by renaming the file and forcing smoothing) remain in force.

Definitely need to put 4хАА forced through the driver. It's on our (radionovsky) cards is done either using CCC (Catalyst Control Center) or through the ATI Tray Tools (V. 1.2.6.940). You have probably worth option Managed by the application, and you need to put 4хАА (like with 6haa not working, or rather working, but exhibited in this case 4хАА). Try!
