News from Gamespot: "There might be a reboot, but definitely not a prequel. The game is at a very early stage of development, and in the next 1-2 years, the game will definitely not be released."

I disagree with you. In the video at 0:51, there is a real nextgen column to the left of Zeus. This was not on ps3, that's for sure.

You might not have noticed, but the God of War III trailer for PS4 contains a teaser for God of War IV.
Perhaps in the remaster itself, which comes out on July 15, you can find more references to the new part of Kratos' adventures.

In the remasters, and most often there is not a big difference with the original. Higher resolution, better textures and that's it. Why look for something that is not.

Why pay extra for remasters when you can buy a PS3 and go through it cheaply?
