Atomic heart
Genre: FPS
Developer: Mundfish
Platforms: PC, Xbox One, PS4.
Release date: 2018
Description: The protagonist of Atomic Heart is special agent P-3, who was sent to a top-secret facility by the Soviet government. During an unsuccessful landing at Enterprise 3826, he tries to figure out what went wrong.
The game will offer a USSR-style entourage with a dose of madness, active gameplay and an exciting storyline that will "entertain throughout the entire journey in the world of the Atomic Heart". In spirit, Atomic Heart is similar to the System Shock and BioShock series.
In my opinion it's just amazing

you know such cool guys from Poland, well, those that the Witcher did, so it’s, they don’t have such a salary there for ordinary workers, litter)))
first, how do you know? Are there any figures for the average salary in the SDPR during the development of the bitcher?
I've looked at their vacancies - they offer a thousand and a half to non-techies, but techies in the region of four.
secondly, do not compare with Moscow, pliz. for a techie / animator with an experience of at least two or three years, this is the minimum salary (it is more likely that a person will work more for an idea than for this money, because in other places this amount will easily double, or even triple, with the possibility of quick revision and growth , but of course it depends on the specialization). naturally, if it were about, say, Samara, everything would be different.

I don't know what is meant by an ordinary employee, but 50 thousand for a developer in Moscow is not a salary at all. Multiply 2-3 times.
Well, I took the minimum minimum + many are attracted by the romance of the game dev. From the first version of the commentary, I wrote 1500, but here you also need to take into account that the techie will receive more, and the workers responsible for, say, visuals, are less than average in the studio.

In Moscow, the most rotten pogromist has a minimum of 40-50, and the average level has closer to a hundred. What's the difference what is there in Poland, if they simply won't go there for a lesser amount, when you can earn more by working in the front / back end
Of course, if you make a studio even in the conditional Eburg, there will be two or three times lower salary, but there are many times less intelligent specialists, all web developers

Of course not, their cleaning lady gets a piece of euros. An ordinary tester (who is not a nichrome developer as a matter of fact) is about 1300-1500.
The video is beautiful, I like the design very much. I wonder what kind of performance I’m not particularly patriotic in this regard.

Domestic studio Mundfish, which released a tower-breaking video of the "Soviet" shooter Atomic Heart last week, shared some details about the game.
“Atomic Heart was originally conceived as an open world game,†said Mundfish CEO Robert Bagratuni. - We do not want to limit the players, let them choose their own path.
The world of the game is actually the entire Soviet Union, whose borders stretch from the Arctic in the north to the Altai Mountains in the south, and all this together with plains, lakes and much more. At the same time, Object 3826 remains the main location, the underground infrastructure of which stretches across the entire map. The main parts of the plant will be interconnected by railways, along which you can move quickly and where you can replenish the ammunition. "
Atomic Heart is set in an alternative USSR. In response to what kind of games inspired the developers to create a new project, Robert replied:
“There is no single answer. So, Artem, the author of the synopsis Atomic Heart, has been working on the game script for over seven years. Since he and some other members of our team were born in the USSR, they have a lot of relevant ideas. Many people compare our game to BioShock and Fallout, but in fact the atmosphere of our game is taken straight from childhood, from the books on which we grew up: the Strugatsky brothers, Lem, Harrison. This fantasy held a special place in the life of a Soviet citizen. And when it merges with the Internet, robotics, the Soviet Union and food stamps, you get the Atomic Heart at the end. "
“Object 3826 originally produced agricultural robots for field work, timber harvesting, law enforcement and household chores. They were very popular in the USSR, which is why cars were everywhere. Every house, every enterprise had its own robot, and then they all went crazy. "
By the way, earlier in the blog, the studio also announced that the game will also include the walking dead, who were resurrected by the mad doctor Stockhausen. And Mundfish directly hinted that there is a certain love line in the plot of Atomic Heart: "Even the most difficult times cannot prevent two loving hearts from finding each other."
“The main character's weapon is made in a post-apocalyptic style,†continues Bagratuni. - He's crazy, but far from: censored :. Our hero can solder and assemble weapons from various fragments found during the game. In addition, weapons can be assembled from metal parts torn from robots or household appliances. Almost everything you meet on your way can be used to kill enemies.
The approach to melee weapons is exactly the same: you can use whatever you find appropriately. "
Robert also clarified how Atomic Heart is related to the studio's other game - Soviet Luna Park VR. “This is an arcade shooter for virtual reality, which has nothing to do with the main game in terms of plot or gameplay. However, the events of Luna Park and Atomic Heart take place in the same universe, and the first draft will provide a glimpse into some of the locations of Object 3826. "
The game is slated for release this year. Mundfish has promised to provide a more precise release date within the next three months.

released a vr project (soviet lunapark) in early access on incentive, and atomic heart left for 2019.
Well, it already looks more real.
The design is good, but of course there is enough clumsy.
It's funny when this jester is called a new bioshock and even its competitor, is it rofl or serious? The aesthetics of retro-futurism is not enough to call the game bioshock, but in the presence of immersive sim gameplay and a philosophical plot, it is another matter. While the game looks like an ordinary meat jester and nothing more. True, I wonder what kind of studio they are and where did they get their budget for the game. Still, the game looks pretty expensive.
Modified on July 29, 2018 by IamGodThe design delights me directly, comparable to what I experienced from Bioshock. Otherwise, these games do not have to be similar in order for each to be cool in its own way. I hope that Atomic Heart belongs to the category of cool games - for a long time nothing really powerful came out of domestic developers, and it seems like this is it.
