Grand Theft Auto. PS on PS2. Passed all the levels.

Decided to play the GTA series (played, like all in VC, SA, IV, but since 2010, the series hardly touched, except for V at the time of its release), I decided to start, of course, with the first part.
And it was a very tough nut to crack. The game is divided into three cities, two level in each. The levels differ in the set of missions and a requirement for the amount of money to complete. The problems start from the very beginning. Tank management. Well-proven in a pile of games on the PS, I love him. But here, where cars fly at tremendous speeds, the traffic is tightly Packed and the cops constantly on your tail, it is painful. Camera. The camera moves away as you increase speed and therefore constantly crawl closer. However, these two factors can be used after some time. The rest get used harder. Mission replay can't flunked -- walk. Failed a few missions -- I think that level you don't finish because each mission multipliers and a substantial amount of money on which the end of the level and tied. Money is also given for any activity (killing people, selling cars), but to recruit them so almost impossible even with a very high multiplier. Can only be saved between levels! Each level takes about four to five hours, during which the need is to complete most of the missions, it is very desirable not pomira at all. Yes, there is life, died more than four times -- the game is over. There is no health, one hit and you spent (you can find body armor on three hits, but it still need to find). All the bonuses and weapons are in the crates which are scattered throughout the city. If the mission needed something to blow up, and you have no guns -- your problem. So between missions you have to go to grindith. The missions boil down to the same as usual-somewhere to go, something to steal, to kill somebody, to blow something up. Meanwhile, yet it is surprising how these missions are varied, for 1997 and contained, in fact, gameplay. Somewhere you need to beat, but not kill, to catch, somewhere to plant a bomb in the car and drive back, shoot one of your allies in a firefight, etc.. exploding Toy cars, netanyahuhousekeeper and a full tank is present. Unfortunately, the missions are full of nuances and a lot of them the first time almost impassable. Went to the phone and BAM, you have 60 seconds to arrive at the other end of the city. Move your car, and the fact that it explodes from a couple of touches a word. Maximum wanted list for no reason at all. The absence of the target indicator, and senseless chatter on the radio at the same time. Timers here and there, and all this against the background of constant senseless travel through the city. Honest shooting is not so much (most of all passing), but those that are -- damn random. Everything associated with shooting here is disgusting. Aimed fire is impossible, PP grab, run and shoot fan hoping that somebody will get. The slightest slip -- the bullet past, however, sometimes a contact does not guarantee results -- the bullet still just flies through. Cops arrested just running up to the hero. Cars collected damage and visual damage, but it is always difficult to say as they left, but they are not illuminated like in the 3D parts, they explode immediately. In missions where the wheels can not be changed, it's crazy annoying. Save only Respray here like manna from heaven. By the way, the car gameplay is implemented almost perfectly. Cars strongly differ from each other and felt, by the way, almost the same as in the 3D parts. Still driving in the city did not resemble a trek through the Vietnamese jungle, was generally fine. To butt heads with the cops is fun as always.
The plot here is almost none. The main character completes tasks of the local kingpin and saves money. Even the ending is not. The protagonist, by the way, you can choose, but only in the beginning of the game. Mission very much in the spirit of GTA -- murder, money, blood, thousands of dead cops, dirty politicians, children left orphaned (and in one mission you can and the car with the kids to spend), piles Themas, Mat, satire and black humor.
The music is good, all written specifically for the game. Radio stations pleasant to listen to, the truth can't be changed. And very funny how a lot of the sounds here are found in subsequent parts.
The graphics are quite decent, though outdated for its time (late 1997ого, the era of the dawn of 3D gaming). Although now I want to say that for many 3D games of that time played a much more crooked.

Here it is, the first part of GTA. It's amazing how much of it became pillars for the subsequent parts. Itself is quite unpleasant, tight, the gameplay is clumsy, monotonous and unforgivable, but the story is missing. But it is very distinctive.

Tyranny. Not without flaws, but I liked it. And even ran into serious bugs, apparently managed to fix it.
Unfortunately, the game is very short, to the point where my character more or less pumped, dressed, and improved in the smithy - he was made Archon and handed a subpoena. 15 level, 30 hours. Well, Tunon certainly a handsome, do not say: why you killed the victim? It was self-defense! And that, I had to walk through the enemy? And why should the city cut? But they're cowards, then pity them! The court's decision is justified, as in the joke:) Personal relationships above the law, just like in life.
Serious shit there alone. Bad pathfinding. Very bad, the level of the first BG. The one who did it, has no right to call yourself a programmer. For example, towards the end of the game when you go for the crystals and the allies are fighting with sorayama, a situation may arise when your team is blocked on a narrow bridge with a bunch of morons stuck, out of range of the shooting script is a batch that does not end until the player does not inflict damage, then animals die...and the player cannot get them, and the fools on the bridge stand till the fight is over, and it is not over yet alive immortal pack animals *facepalm*

Here a few hours ago the 2nd time completed the legendary Mafia: City of Lost Heaven. The first time she seemed to me to be fantastically complicated, for an old game on some hegseth as in modern games will not get far, and what is the armor in Lost heaven no one knows and so each Hpsci weight in gold, so better to make sure not hiding a foe around the corner, because you risk to go through the whole level again.
