In my opinion, the second part was Sony's first game translated into Russian.
The second passed the first, since all the pirates of the first, hung on the level (lake)
As I recall how I tried to start the second part ... ps1 did not want to read the disc at any angle 
after fiddling all night with the disc and the console ... still I managed to start but did not go through to the end, after a very large number of years, that's all we managed to pass both parts on the emule by 100% just a year ago 
It is a pity, in fact, that only the first part, but judging by the video, the work was done no worse than on the crash and spyro, it seems that we have gone through the whole cycle and returned to the original position.
I love this game even more than crash, I will have to take it right at the start, I hope the sales will be good and the second part will be redone too
The second part will be easier for them to do, they do not differ much in terms of some other technologies, most of them already have an engine + animation.
Judging by the positive comments, views and likes, nostalgic for the game no less than for Spyro, and even more.

In fact, I just didn't like Jack when I didn't like it) I remember playing some part and it was a strange replacement of skins.

It is unlikely that this will be remake. Here is Jack and Dexter - the most realistic candidate.
