Good day.
I will say right away that the game did not cause me any emotions of sadness, tears, etc. I will not call it one of the best games I have played. Reading reviews, looking at reviews, I often came across something like - "The game changed my life / At the end I cried / AAAa * sounds of happiness *" well, you get the idea. Alas, I do not share these feelings, maybe due to the fact that I am a little older than those who left such reviews? (I'm 20) Put it on the shelves:
Plot 6/10
It's simple, there are too many clichéd characters that absolutely do not leave an impression either during the passage of the game or after. There was no pity for Chloe, throw stones at me. With clichés like that, the plot was formed on this basis, the game reminded me of Bully, and damn it, this game was better than LIS. Although the characters there were younger than those who were introduced to us, they were more soulful. And here nothing is clear, it just feels like all the characters are typical representatives of the series from Omerika. If we remove the abilities of the main character, we get a second-rate TV series.
A game for those who do not watch dramas, TV shows, films are sad, this is a game for you, but for those who have ever seen snot in TV shows or in a movie like me, it is not recommended. In the end, you will not cry over Chloe's death, you will cry over the stupidity of Episode 5. All good

Recently I advised my girlfriend to go through Life is Strange. At one time she could not do this for lack of a pc. I had to be content with Kuplinov's passages. Fortunately, the episodes of the game began to be forgotten, and she was able to fully appreciate everything. The game is capable of evoking emotions that sometimes have not happened to us yet. You are not playing the game, but the game is playing you. As you progress through the game, you unwittingly fall in love with the characters and this leads to an even greater problem. My friend saved the city, but she regretted her choice and could not forgive herself all week. I had to calm down and go through the game. Ask yourself the question is the city of death of a loved one.
At first it was quite interesting, the characters are well worked out with subsequent disclosure, the influence on them is also felt over time, the dialogues are written well and the situations are resolved in a completely logical way, but what the bottom turned out to be in episode 5. It seemed that the game was supposed to end at 4, but they announced 5 and had to suck it out, so they took fragments of the previous episodes and incredibly stretched 3 lines of the plot, stupidly piled a bunch of pseudo psychedelic shit. And at the end, they put 2 chairs at all, the choice of any of which puts a fatal cross on all the elections made during the game, and on the game itself, in principle, because the game is about two friends, one of whom has the ability, which is the main mechanic of the game, and as a result, we get morality, that all our actions do not make any sense at all and the best option is to do nothing like play the game in principle. In general, a potentially interesting game was simply merged at the end by the absolute mediocrity of the scriptwriters.
UPD. In general, I sat, thought and came to the conclusion that the ending with saving Chloe is still a "true end", because the whole point of the game is precisely this, in order to save her, some of course may see morality in the other ending, that you need to be able to let go, but in my opinion this is absolutely wrong and you need to fight to the end, here everyone has their own preferences. So, in the ending I chose, we sacrifice Arcadia Bay, everything seems to be awful and bad, but in fact, in the final video, we are practically not shown the destruction more than those that were when we walked through the city, no mountains of bodies on the streets, nothing and only the sign that stood above the diner fell nearby, that is, it was not carried away and the diner itself was not erased to the foundation. Thus, it turns out that we sacrificed the city, and not people, yes, there were some victims, but here whose fault, the authorities, who did not evacuate everyone, the people themselves who did not care about the bad weather and who continued to go about their business, in general, a controversial issue. But the fact remains that the majority survived. In general, after completing the game, I started the prequel and do you know what was there? Fire! A huge fire that sent out warning messages and somewhere there said something about the evacuation ... and then it dawned on me, THIS IS IT!
My ideal ending is the ending where Max goes to the exhibition, but with the only change, namely, asking Chloe to fuck all the woods around AB, they burn so beautifully! If the city is surrounded by fires from 3 sides, then the authorities will have no choice but to evacuate everyone on ships, if this is done a couple of days before the storm, then no one will suffer at all, everyone will be saved! Yes, it's a pity that those who made the game did not think of this and did not make such an option, in my opinion this is exactly what should have happened.
