Miyamoto creates a new mario that combines some elements of 3D parts (jumps from walls, 3D rotating platforms) with elements of old 2D parts (Super Mario Bros. 3). A raccoon costume with characteristic abilities will also be available.
Great video. Graphics, design, music, gameplay - everything is cool at Nintendo as always: love:

[quote name = 'Red Priest Rezo' timestamp = '1330429708' post = '2540414'] The only level with a memorable level design feature in 3D Land is the level with saws cutting off pieces of the floor. Everything else is parasitizing on old ideas [/ quote]
almost the same thing happened in Sunshine, when you had to run in abstraction over pieces of sand that crumbled after touching ..
and in general the idea is not new and is present in one form or another in many games
it is not at all clear why you don’t like Sunshine .. a very holistic world .. secrets and the overall saturation of the action on a square pixel just goes off scale,
maybe the crooked camera spoils your impression so much ?!
we are counting the fruit Sunshine >> Galaxy
[b] [member = vodafon] [/ b], you can add me to your deuce about Sunshine)
He played much better than Calaxi.
Much more holistic game turned out

I did not like a lot about it from a purely technical point of view - camera glitches, uncomfortable purely hemorrhoid moments like when, after an unsuccessful attempt to jump somewhere on Yoshi, you had to climb back for a couple of minutes and look for him again in order to try again, well, etc. I don't remember exactly now. But the complaints were mainly about the execution, and not about the concept.
But I at least think that the levels without a water gadget (those with platforms rotating in the air) in Sunshine is the best that has ever been in the series. Here I am ready to give them 10 points without hesitation. The best thing I've ever seen in platforming.

Well, just failing the pieces of the floor under you are still not quite right. Here the floor collapsed by itself and in different pieces depending on the movement of the saws.
Although, yes, I even admit - this is not so much a new idea as a stylistically cool implementation of it. Modified Feb 28, 2012 by Red Priest Rezo
