Well, in short, I played enough already and you can form a specific opinion.

I must say right away that the game was a success for me. At one time, the same OB has already quite quickly turned for me into a game in which chests were farmed, and the gameplay itself was more annoying. Immediately while not at all interested in cosmetics, the gameplay is addictive to the fullest. I'll start with the good:

- Maps. At first it seemed that they were very "square", they lacked individuality and looked too sterile. But after playing a little more, you understand that despite the fact that the spots here are too standard (right angle, right angle, and then right angle), the player's abilities allow you to create many unexpected places and therefore even in such sterile maps there is always variety thanks to some heroes (Jett, Sage, Omen, etc.). Plus some unique map features like teleporters or ropes are actually very important. Despite the fact that there are also 3 bomb sites here, the maps are still very compact and enemies go behind the back very quickly, so back control is extremely important here (especially on a map with teleports). In general, Vulcano did a very good job on the maps.

- Heroes. I liked that, unlike the same OV, they did not make the heroes too limited in their roles. That is, a healing support here may well be a tough clutcher. At the same time, the peak is extremely important here, there are some heroes who are too important at the moment (more on that later). The main thing is that while playing on any hero (well, ok, mb not on any, I did not play on all), you do not feel that your impact may be less than that of another hero. All heroes are useful and very usable.

- Abilities. Except for some heroes, in general the abilities are very balanced and at the same time useful (and not how it happens that they balance everything by the fact that all abilities are just shit). Many were afraid that there were licensed magi, etc., but they all do not give a big advantage, because they are quite easy to counter (arrows break even before ping, traps also). The ults do not charge so quickly and although they sometimes have a strong impact, their charging statuses can be seen in the list of players and therefore, knowing that the last enemy is sitting with the ult can be played appropriately.

- Shooting and movement. In general, the shooting is very similar to the cs, except that here many guns have ADF, although there is not so much sense in it yet (except for those guns that change the firing mode from ADF), perhaps it was simply made for those who do not him uncomfortable. Due to the fact that the non-slip movement here, as in the CSGO, there is less strafing when shooting and it is easier to put headshots, but the spray is also not easy here. But here you can have bunny hopping.

- Map and ping system. Because there is no voice connection in Russia (thanks to our stupid laws), on ru-servers everyone communicates in chat or pings (as in the apex), and in general I have hardly felt any infringement due to the lack of voice. Largely thanks to the map, which is always fully visible and you can clearly read the situation on it.

- A bunch of useful little things like setting up sights, clearly understandable shots (by the effect on the wall, you understand whether you shoot or not), purchases and drops are convenient, etc.

 

Well, the bad:

- Visual. The game looks very repulsive for many. The developers focused on optimization (the game plows even on those computers that only 1.6 pull) and readability, but because of this everything looks very faded, there is no ragdol, the effects are all scanty, even the animation is clumsy.

- Balance. In general, there are no problems with him, except that some heroes (for example, Raise or Sage) are too obligatory in the pick and they simply have no alternatives yet. Raise in general is wildly hated now because of bombs and missiles, but I think that such heroes are also needed, only you need several of them so that at least there is a choice, and this is how you get Instapic Raise.

- Weapon. No, the guns themselves are good and each one is usable, but their PPC appearance is similar, sometimes when the gun is lying around it is very difficult to understand which one is.

 

Well, sobsna is all for now, of course the game will not kill, but it can claim the second place, although it all depends on whether casuals go to play it because of this appearance.

By the way, recently top streamers (among which were shroud and scudoodle, former top csgo players) played stacks against developers (among whom there are also former losers in cs1.6) and lost to developers in trash. Developers abused maps and abilities to the fullest, while streamers relied mostly only on their aim.
