I just took and pumped the hero for a long time in the right place, where strong monsters would respawn. In the first chapter, a cave with echinops (upgraded to level 18), chapter 2 - in the swamps, an island with wyverns and alguli (level 30), chapter 3 - in the swamps, a cave with cockatrixes (here they give 600 apiece, and their there are only 6 and besides there are 2 kikimora warriors (400) nearby, so for each walk you get 4500 XP), in a couple of evenings I brought the witcher to level 51, there is no point in swinging further - all the same, they do not give talents. And at the beginning of each chapter, it is better not to take quests, and go first to pump up the hero a little, otherwise, for example, if in the 3rd chapter you make a quest for a feather of cockatrixes, then they stop respawning.

Level 39, could have been a couple of levels more, if not for a couple of screwed up quests and if I had chopped up monsters a little longer.

Now I'm going through a new one at a difficult level. Already level 14, and I have not distributed talents yet (only 3 bronze for herbalism). I wonder when the dead end will come?
