TE gain will be, but it is a kind of Homeopathy.

A shaken ball of wisdom, the ball of wisdom says, depending on the developer's optimizations.
katyazhdanovaa
will be relevant until you buy yourself something more productive.
if for toys - then 2700x - a piece of feces since its release, and Gtx 1080ti can be milked for another three years in 1920s1080.
legusor
By the way, 1080ti is still enough in the resolution 3440x1440.
It is clear that in the current projects the settings have to be reduced from the ultras. But on the High/Ultra mix, the same Metro Exodus quite calmly passed.
katyazhdanovaa
looking at what to understand by relevance
To run games on ultra 30fts 2700s without a crackdown will be able to maybe a year 3 can more.
The 1080p graphics card on the most ultras can still year-year and a half somewhere as such.
physical start-up at the processor - it is thought to end until about the end of the cycle of non-xtgen.
the graphics card can take 3-4 years but not a fact. it depends on whether the games will use the latest version of dh12 as a mandatory and whether nv will maintain their cards drivers for so long (1080ti does not have a full-fledged acceleration dhr).
legusor
the 2700s have been a piece of feces since its release
Posted by the owner of the i9-7900X which is not exactly for gaming and shows low phps in them !

Time flies...
Well, the message is clear. 1080ti still pulls demanding games. It is clear that you can not even look at the ultras and rays, but still. If you reduce secondary settings, you can live and 2k and a little higher.
In a good way, I would move to THE RTX 30xx, but the prices are quite sad.

THE RTX 3090 costs 150K pyblik. It's like even for our Muhosransk is not very much.
Dragon Lore
3090 24gb is not for games only memory great everything else is not far gone from 3080 ! The point in overpaying is generally incomprehensible 10-20% for $700 nonsense.
3080 generally snaps at 10gb of memory while the competitor has 16-12 gigs in general funny.

If I understood it correctly, the competitor said that it would support all ray tracing options using industry standards, including the Microsoft DXR API and the upcoming Vulkan raytracing API. Games that use proprietary APIs and ray tracing extensions are not supported
That is, the Nvidia RTX technology already implemented in a number of games will not be supported by AMD 6000 series graphics cards, as I understand it. I don't see the point in buying this snap.

Well, maybe someone $700 a substantial amount, I don't argue. Not for me.
Dragon Lore
Nvidia RTX's range of games technology supported by AMD 6000 series graphics cards will not
There are only two of them. About a turkey type Ghostrunner do not know there is no interest in this technology in view of weak graphics .
Exactly will be in Cyberpunk on Rx6800 only later and so nothing so graphic in fact is not !
Now works in Control,WatchDogs, Tomb Raider,Call of Duty,Dirt5,GodFall this is enough for a start.
$700 is a substantial sum, I don't argue. Not for me.
It's not about the sum, it's about teaching "performance for $" as Americans say! 20% increase is very small at this size and price I am already silent about TDP.

Well, it's like. People have different approaches and different price bar. I'm not going to regret even the 5% purely nominal difference, paying for another marketing move. If there is an opportunity and there is a desire, why not? At the end of the day, we live one life, saving on little quirks :D
Hello everyone, tell me who knows, I have three strips of RAM Ddr 3 x 4 gigabytes, but they have a frequency of 800mg, if you put the memory at a higher frequency, will there be a difference or does it make no sense on my hardware?
Comp

Recommended memory for Ficus with a frequency of 1866! As I understand it, 800 is effective, and the bars are 1600 MHz.
In general, Ficuses respond very well to high frequencies, but coupled with a high CPU NB frequency. Ideal for Ficus is CPU NB 2600 (or higher) + DDR3 2400.
FPS especially minimal boost is not sickly.
I repeat, 1866 is enough for a stock stone from memory. Then the controller must also drive the CPU NB.
Be ready to divert the increased heat consumption from the CPU
Ryazancev
It is necessary to take a normal cooler for a percentage in addition, right? And what do you think, if I change my three strips of 4 to one with a frequency of 1600, is it worth it? And even mine does not give more than 800 in the BIOS.
