If you keep in mind the position of the mobs, then the damage from them quickly drops and the number of circles becomes much less. And the number of demolished HP in one splash, on the contrary, is interesting. You don't stand like a crab in the rain, and you don't stand still like a turret.

Doom Eternal: Ancient The Gods Part One & Part Two on NS. 100%.

Expected sequels to Doom Eternal. Gameplay is what you need. Doom Eternal was only allowed to roam to the fullest at the very end, when the hero was pumped to the ceiling. Here, every battle is like the last, and trials are generally the juice, there have been no shooters for a long time that are literally difficult to pass on a normal level of difficulty. Two marauders, one of which is reinforced - please. Add two Archvails and Doom Hunter on top. It's not even Serious Sam anymore, it's Devil May Cry. In the second part, the level of hardcore is much reduced. The new monsters are basically the same old ones, but painted and with new properties, they force the use of weapon mods. It is trite, but they add variety. Less collectors, more fun.
But the plot is somewhat disappointing, as if the developers were in a hurry to finish the story (they can be understood, they were bought by Microsoft, one of the main studio killers). If Doom Eternal resembled an epic fantasy, then The Ancient Gods is a cheap tracing paper from it. There are practically no new characters, and some old ones suddenly turn out to be ancient gods of enormous power (which there was not a hint of before). The evil doppelganger is very original, it's almost a humorous device, the level of children's shows. Hell suddenly has his own hellish people, with his own hellish city and technologies, again, without any prerequisites. The final battle is somehow stretched and frame-by-frame copies ... Avengers: Endgame. The battle with the dark lord is practically QTE, zero drive, just have time to repeat the same sequence of actions in time. The final twist is also nonsense - both Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal gave us bold hints that our hero is the same Doomgay. Suddenly it turns out that he is a product of hell, which does not agree at all with anything said before. At the end he is quickly put in a coffin until the next sequel, this is the twist. Direction, location and charisma of Dumgay draw out this booth.
The switch version of The Ancient Gods is not independent, it is launched as a separate campaign from Doom Eternal. Everything is on the level - the graphics are juicy, controlled smartly, there are zero technical flaws.

The second part of The Ancient Gods left a bitter aftertaste, but it is not so important. We got the deserved final levels ~ 10 hours long. And the plot in the Duma is traditionally important as much as the plot in porn.

Graphics - in Doom 2016 is no worse, but in some places it is more beautiful and smoother. It looks like a single whole, neither the enemies nor the elements of the environment make it feel like they were drawn in another editor.
And here it is strongly pulled out of the general context of the scenes. The eye starts to get nervous when you notice enemies flashing in a poisonous color, the overall contrast of the picture is greatly dispersed and it turns out Mr.

Gameplay is a shame... Again, Doom 2016 is up there in comparison.
They came up with some kind of nonsense with knocking ivy out of enemies. Looks like mario or sonic on sega, just horror and nausea.

Enemies have become somehow cartoonish and inanimate, a regression on the face.

My rating is 5 out of 10.

Bought this game on PS4 today and played it. And first impressions: it doesn't feel like Doom. Some kind of completely different game in which there is a mixture of Quake 3 Arena, Painkiller and Lara Croft
on Quake 3 - because you have to constantly be on the move and jump endlessly, dodging enemies. Painkiller - because in some rooms the doors are closed with an aura and until you kill all the enemies, you will not go any further. And Lara Croft - tortured with PERMANENT puzzles and a bunch of jumping, where you need to jump at the right time, timing. THIS IS TERRIBLE AND IRRITATED ME 😡😡😡😡All because I spent a lot of time.
There are no complaints about the plot, music and graphics, done for 10 points to the gameplay - yes. The joystick is very hard to play, the aim assist doesn't work a damn thing! Enabled in settings. Why it doesn't work is not clear. Enemies move very fast, most of the ammunition went past the enemy. I realized that the game is not for console players, but for PK players there is

a PERMANENT shortage of cartridges, it infuriates when you are attacked by a whole crowd of enemies and different ones. And for each enemy you need to use a certain type of weapon, which really infuriates. From constant switching, he got confused in weapons. He spent rocket launcher shells almost on zombies, and not on the most powerful opponents, and this led to the fact that even on easy difficulty he died many times. I'm afraid to imagine if I played on the maximum difficulty.

In general, I'm not very happy with the game. Poorly optimized for PS4. I'll try to get through. And I will definitely sell the disc with the game

I completely calmly passed the game on the PC twice with a boxed gamepad on ultra-cruelty. I had no problems with control and aiming. Most likely you have very little experience in passing games of this kind with a gamepad.
