I saw a version of ressurection for 1.09 - there had to replace the original patch_d2.a modified mpq on.
And generally try to unpack the mod to the folder with the Diablo and if there is a data folder to ekzeshnika
fill-direct (C:\Games\Diablo II Lord of Destruction\Diablo II.exe -direct).
If your mod mpq archive just fill in the shortcut properties: - mpq-name=archive=-. For example I have this:
D:\Games\Diablo II\D2.exe - mpq Ressurection.mpq
