How do you feel about old games?

It's interesting to hear people's opinions on this. What do you think, is it worth wasting time on old platforms and games or there are so many new games coming out now that there is no time and desire for them? And another interesting point - do you play the first game of any major series (for example, Tomb Raider, The Elder Scrolls), before passing the new ones, or immediately proceed to their modern versions? Thanks in advance.

And I don't understand how people played old games before! Graphics are poor, lives are not vastanavlyayutsya. No map. They are bad games! Take Call of Duty. Everything's great! Graphics, plot that is pogachete with many books, and even movies! And take Half Lafe 2! Oh, my gosh! Graphics are bad! It's nothing compared to Cruzis 3! Cruzis 3 is a shredder! And the old games suck!

It's sad for you. The only argument you made was about graphics and spelling (type in Word to check for errors). But at the time, it was the top graphics, only powerful graphics cards could scroll it all at maximal, and now even built-in Intel chips easily overwhelm them all, everything evolves, but the sense and the logical load in today's large-scale games is less and less, but all because the manufacturers are not limited by hardware, and therefore drives graphics. Previously, they competed with the idea, competed with the variety of possible passing options. And now what? Played in Uncharted last, where the character has to get into the room, and the door is closed, although there is a window nearby... but no, you only have to use the door. Damn, the graphics and physics at the highest level, tons of RAM, make that would be a shot to knock the door. But alas...
Want new strategies, like Generals, Red Alert.

Positive, and it's a lot more fun to play old games than new ones that are coming out now.

Well, for example, I love playing old GTAs. Himan Blood Money is my favorite part in the series. I don't know if the 2012 games count or not, but FC3 Blood Dragon is very cool. Love playing the first Hotline Miami and Borderlands (like all games in the series). Of the races, I can't help but remember Blur.

Yes, I play them a lot, especially the old CRPGs.

I love games from the 90's-08, because I grew up with them, so they will remain classics for me, like Soviet movies. Sometimes I even want to play them, but I always have time to play them.

Positively. Sometimes nostalgia strikes. I recently passed all of Crysis. I really like the first Far Cry and sometimes put it to play. From very old Half-Life 2, Quake 2 or 4, DOOM 3 and I.G.I.-2: Covert Strike I play sometimes. So I recommend it.

I love to play Call of Duty 1 + United Offensive, was a great shooter at the time, and now no worse than many.
Frequently replay Diablo 2, with and without mods, every time a new one, interest does not fall, as opposed to the third part.
I often play NFS Underground 1-2, sometimes Most Wanted in 2005, it's a nostalgic game, it also includes Test Drive Unlimited 1

If you look at each of my favorites by genre, I rarely play strategy games, I used to play Cossacks, day and night, very rarely lost, I was a god in the game, even won tournaments in the city.
Now I do not play.

World of Warcraft to Lich King, Lich - put an end to the game, it finished, how many years I disappeared there ...ugh, the most powerful memories, still remember our guild and how many people it was, events, duels, insta, bg etc. The era!!!

Sometimes you can dabble in the classics, but if you're not familiar from way back, it's hard to play. I tried to play the first Fallout the other day and realized that it wasn't going to work that easy. Cleaned out the radscorpions and then couldn't take it, quit. I'm sorry, Criss. I couldn't do it!
